The Black+Decker LPP120 cordless pole saw comes with a 40V battery and a 1.5Ah charger.
This makes it slow for charging and it can take around 3-4 hours for the battery to fully charge. We recommend buying a better charger that has 2Ah or more amperage so that charging the battery takes less than an hour.
The performance is pretty good considering it is a cordless electric pole saw. The specification suggests the motor can trim about 100 of 1-½ inch thick branches.
This pole saw has an 8-inch bar and chain which means that you can trim up to 6-inch branches with it.
What is the pole reach?
The usable length of this pole saw is from 6.5 to 10 feet. So you can get an overhead reach up to 14 feet.

The Greenworks 20672 is a high-quality cordless pole saw that some features that are better than the Black+Decker LPP120 pole saw.
It comes with a 40V Lithium-Ion battery that lasts longer than the Black+Decker one. The charger is a 2Ah one which means charging the Greenworks takes 60 minutes. And keep using the pole saw for 60 minutes till the battery drains out.
The Greenworks 20672 weighs 8.6 lbs which makes it a bit heavier than the Black+Decker one.
The Greenworks 20672 has the added features of an automatic oiling system that oils the chain while pruning. It also has an easy to adjust tensioning system that makes it easy to tighten it before use. In the case of the Black+Decker LPP120, you need to use the provided wrench to adjust the tension.

It has an even weight distribution throughout the pole saw which makes it well balanced so you don’t have problems holding it for long periods of pruning time.
The weight is about 10.8 pounds which is heavier than the Black+Decker that weighs just 6.3 pounds.
The best part of this pole saw is the awesome power that it has and the no-fade power technology that it uses.
It cuts better and faster than the Black+Decker LPP120. So if you’re looking for a commercial-grade cutting pole saw then the Oregon PS250-E6 is a good choice.

It has a good weight distribution similar to the Black+Decker which makes it easy to hold while trimming for long periods of time.
The power is good and comparable to the Black+Decker pole saw. However, the battery capacity is larger and it lasts much longer while pruning.
It weighs 11.8 lbs that makes it much heavier than the Black+Decker one which is quite lightweight.
But if you don’t mind the extra weight and are looking for a high quality, powerful cordless pole saw then the Poulan Pro 967044201 is worth considering.
